Here I humbly present round #2 from the Paris of the Prairies. This collection represents 3 nights of non-stop neon-spotting action on 1 page.
What made this trip special beyond getting to share glowing nights with good friends in my favorite American city was getting to meet some incredible artists keeping the luminous dream alive. Neon Mike Chicago, an artist (and incredible host!) whose work spans the city but truly shines in amazing community spaces in the Bridgeport neighborhood of the city. His collaborations with artist Bryan Sperry, Co-Prosperity, Lumpen Radio, and Marz Brewing truly make this south side ‘community of the future’ aglow with artistic neon. Then Charlie at Neon Design Inc in Evanston, IL was a studio space feast for the eyes. He welcomed me and a few friends to tour his space which was an incredible collection of both artistic, and commercial pieces.
